Free Preventive Dental Services
Who gets free care?
Children ages 17 and under and seniors over the age of 65 who meet certain criteria.
Dental clinics are provided at the Porcupine Health Unit in Timmins as well as in our branch offices using portable dental equipment.
What services are available?
Services include one or all of the following:
- Clinical visual examination
- Oral hygiene instruction
- Cleaning of teeth (scaling and polishing)
- Topical fluoride application
- Full mouth probing
- Pit and fissure sealants
- Denture cleaning and labelling
