The Porcupine Health Unit (PHU) collects contact information to provide physicians, nurse practitioners, and other health care practitioners with accurate and timely information about emerging local health issues and direction during health emergencies, as mandated by the Health Protection and Promotion Act (1990). Health promotion information will also be provided when it is relevant to the care you provide.
